AFSA Canadian Open, Mount St Louis Moonstone - Jan 31-Feb 2
Mark H, Austin C, Colin H, Eli M, Sam M, and Willie O represented the Calgary Freeriderz at this halfpipe and slopestyle competition in Coldwater, Ontario. Coach Brent made the trek to Ontario as well and provided superb guidance and support for the boys in what was an extremely competitive slopestyle event with 68 entrants! Both Mark and Austin made it into the finals with Mark placing 2nd overall in the event performing two very clean and impressive runs and Austin secured a very respectable 8th place. Congratulations! Thanks goes out to all the Freeriderz athletes and their parents who attended this event. It takes a big team effort to make these trips as fun and successful as this one.
